Dear Parishioners,
Due to the impending snowstorm and for the safety of our parish community, all Sunday Masses are canceled.
Earlier today, Mayor John Carney declared a state of emergency for the City of Wilmington. As part of this declaration, non-essential personnel are prohibited from operating motor vehicles after 1:00 AM on Sunday, which makes it impossible for us to safely staff and attend Mass.
I strongly encourage those who are able to, attend the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday, which will fulfill your Sunday obligation.
Please know that this decision was made with your safety foremost in mind. I ask you to keep one another in prayer during the storm, and to be especially mindful of neighbors who may need assistance.
Stay safe and God bless,
Monsignor Hurley
